11 West Lane

This is a self-contained furnished studio, not a room inside our house. It has its own private entrance, kitchenette and bathroom, and it’s attached to our home on a quiet, wooded property in South Salem. Rent is $2,500 a month with all utilities included, and it’s available from December 1 for monthly stays, 13-week contracts or longer.

What’s included:

A queen bed and a loveseat that pulls out into a sleeper, so it sleeps up to 3.
A full kitchenette with a stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, cookware, dishes and a coffee maker.
A private bathroom with a walk-in shower, plus linens and towels.
Heat, air conditioning, electricity, hot water, fast Wi-Fi for remote work and a smart TV with streaming.
Shared use of the washer and dryer on the property, with laundry times coordinated with me.
Parking for two cars, with snow removal handled.
Starter supplies like toilet paper, paper towels and soap, so you’re set for the first few days.

Pets are welcome, and we have two friendly dogs of our own. Because the studio shares a wall with our home, I ask tenants to be mindful of noise, especially late at night.

It’s 5 to 7 minutes to downtown Ridgefield, about 15 minutes to the Katonah, Goldens Bridge and New Canaan train stations, and 20 to 25 minutes to Northern Westchester Hospital and Danbury Hospital. That makes it a good fit for travel nurses, professionals on assignment, or anyone in between homes.
