Argyle Cottage

The fully furnished Cottage is located on the back of our 1 acre home lot with an oversized saltwater pool that includes waterfalls and diving board, as well as a separate above ground hot tub. Private back patio with a grill, seating, and tree line. A little country feeling ~ you may hear horses, cows, chickens, as well as trains that run through our small town of Argyle. Located in a quiet neighborhood. During the summer and fall months, feel free to pick fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden!

We provide laundry concierge service (included in the monthly rent price). Your laundry will be washed, dried, folded, and delivered each week (or as requested).

Full kitchen that includes all utensils, cookware, and dishes. There are 2 bathrooms (1/2 upstairs and a full on the main floor). There is an open queen bedroom upstairs (no door) with a large walk in closet. There is a small bedroom on the main floor with a full bed. The couch in the living room pulls out into a full sized bed.

Enjoy the use of the large saltwater pool (30,000 gallon pool in which comfortable swimming months are typically May - September, seasonally dependent as the pool is NOT heated), as well as the hot tub, and outdoor games like frisbee golf. Please note that there is not a fence around the pool or hot tub and there are no lifeguards on duty. Please swim at your own risk. *Note: The pool and backyard is a shared space between the Cottage and (us) the homeowners. Also, we have a very friendly German Shepherd that likes to "patrol" the backyard for squirrels and loves to play fetch.

Plentiful towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, as well as soft and fluffy robes provided. We think the small things are what makes the difference, therefore soak in the tub with the provided Epsom salts, use the handmade goats milk soap and the homemade lavender spray on your pillow before bedtime. For your entertainment: puzzles, board games, TV's, Roku, DVD Player, DVDs, and books await.
