The Blue Moon Lake Retreat is a lakefront oasis conveniently located on the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach line in a safe, clean neighborhood.

You will be within minutes of all the area has to offer, including work time and free time!

Relax and recharge; imagine sitting on your deck with a cup of tea or a glass of wine and a book, watching the sunset, while ducks glide peacefully on the lake.

~ THE SPACE~

Inside is clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. The space is newly furnished and decorated in hues of blue, inspired by all the water surrounding the Chesapeake area.

The space has everything you need for a comfortable stay including full size appliances, full size washer/dryer, fast panoramic Wi-Fi, 55" Smart HDTV, memory foam beds, blackout curtains, and a sound machine for sleep,

The space is private and feels like your own oasis, yet is centrally located with restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, gas stations, coffee shops, and anything else you might need within a couple of minutes. We will share our guidebook with you that has tons of recommendations.

The property can accommodate up to 4 guests and guests have the entire space to themselves.
The space is two story, with a living room, kitchen, dining area, laundry closet, and guest bathroom downstairs, and two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms upstairs.

Living Room: Comfy new couch, 55" HD Smart TV to access all of your favorite apps (no cable); board games, books, and a cozy fireplace with LED flickering candles.

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, multiple coffee brewing options (drip maker, French press, pour over), ceramic pots/pans, full service dish set, flatware, glasses, wine glasses, toaster, blender, milk frother, spices, starter supplies of dishwasher pods, foil, cooking oil;

Full size washer and dryer in the unit free for your use;
Full size ironing board and iron

Dining area adjacent to the kitchen;

Half bath downstairs;

Master bedroom; upstairs with ensuite full bath; private small balcony overlooking lake; king size memory foam bed with lots of pillows , mattress and pillow protectors, and 100% white cotton sheets; 55" HD Smart TV; Writing desk overlooking the water; walk-in closet

Second bedroom; upstairs en suite bathroom with shower; full size memory foam bed with same linens as the master; 43" Smart HD TV; large closet;

Deck; overlooking the lake; chairs/table for enjoying the outdoor space

Exterior: there are motion sensor lights on the front and back of the property; there is a Ring doorbell cam at the front door

~PETS~

The space can be pet friendly on a case-by-case basis:
We will allow 1 house-trained dog if the following guidelines are agreed to:
--Must complete pet profile (there is a small fee) at:

--Dog not allowed on furniture or beds
--When dog is left alone should be in crate, or should have doors shut to all bedrooms and bathrooms
--Dog must not bark excessively to avoid disturbing the neighbors and having complaints
--There is a separate pet deposit (refundable), and pet fee (not refundable).

~SECURITY~

The main entry at the front door has a smart WIFI deadbolt lock with a keypad. You will have your own dedicated code to this door for easy move-in and use during your stay. The door also has a chain lock for use when home if desired.
The back door has a dead bolt lock, door knob lock, and a chain lock.
There is a Ring doorbell cam at the front door.
There are motion sensor lights located by the front and back doors.

~CLEANING~

There is a cleaning fee of $200 to cover your move out; if cleaning services wanted during stay this can be arranged.

Between guests I make sure the property is cleaned the way I would want it cleaned if staying somewhere. That means it's really clean, not just the surface; doorknobs are wiped, mattress pads and pillow covers changed between each guest, etc.

~UTILITIES~

Included up to a maximum of $500.
Anything exceeding that amount will be charged to the guest.
Includes: Electric, gas, water, trash, internet.
