The house is 1,650 square feet with an open floor plan that keeps the main level bright and social, plus a half bath on the first floor. The 1926 bones are still here, but the entire home is recently and fully renovated. Every room has a closet.

Sleeping arrangements. The primary bedroom has a king bed, an attached full bath, and a walk-in closet. The guest room has two beds, a full and a twin, plus its own television. The third bedroom is currently set up as an office and training room rather than a bedroom, and an air mattress is included if you need it as a third sleeping space.

Set up for working and training. That third room has a sit-stand desk and monitor, ready to go on day one, along with a treadmill and free weights. A workout doesn't require a gym membership or a drive.

Downtime. A projector setup handles movies, streaming, and video games, and the room darkens well enough with the curtains closed for daytime viewing.

Both the front and back yards are fully fenced with gates, so the outdoor space is genuinely usable and private, and easy with a dog. The street is quiet and the neighbors are friendly.

Location is the other half of the appeal. Downtown Richmond, VCU, and VCU Medical Center are all about ten minutes away, and Richmond International Airport is fifteen. Barack Obama Elementary is two blocks from the door. Within a two to five block walk you'll find a real neighborhood's worth of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, art galleries, hair stylists, and tattoo artists.
