Lower Suite on Ivy Street – walk to little Italy + Balboa park!

Settle in + explore the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, USS Midway Museum + the infamous Little Italy Mercato! All within a nice stroll from the space. Or visiting on business? The Lower Suite is conveniently located + is a quick to jump on the 5 freeway taking you anywhere you need to go in the County.

The lot has two buildings, a front home that is occupied full time and is fully separated from the back of the lot that hosts a secondary structure that has studios on separate floors with their own entrances. The Upper Suite is a short term rental and this listing is for the Lower Suite, which is a mid-term rental. The Upper Suite being a short term rental gives you the option to have friends or family visit during your stay! There is a 2 person maximum per suite at all times to ensure a quiet and comfortable environment for all (unless both suites are booked together).

The location is superb being within walking distance to:
-Little Italy (and the infamous Little Italy Farmers Market!) - 6 Minute Walk
-Balboa Park - 8 Minute Walk
-San Diego Waterfront Park + Embarcadero - 15 Minute Walk
-San Diego Zoo - 1.5 miles mostly through Balboa Park
-The buzzing restaurant district of both Little Italy + Bankers Hill which include eateries, cafes, shops and nightlife! (We will provide all the top recommendations)

Guest access:
The Suites are located in their own building detached from the front house.

Guests access their suites through the private corridor on the right side of the front house via a well lit path.

The path leads to the Shared Courtyard devoted to guests, where the Upper Suite stairs lead to their deck overlooking the courtyard and the Private Patio is adjacent to the front house's patio, separated by a privacy fence and potted fruit trees.

Other things to note:
This property is in the flight path to the San Diego Airport and planes fly overhead during the day and subside at night. The convenient location to Little Italy also means close proximity to the 5 Freeway, which will create a consistent background murmur throughout your stay.

Street parking only, which is typically plentiful during the week but can get busy on weekends due to people parking and walking to Little Italy. The front is occupied by a friendly couple and there may be short term guests in the Upper Suite during your stay. Feel free to say hi if you see them otherwise they keep to themselves.

The suite is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay in San Diego, including:

-TV + Samsung TV+ Channels
-Full kitchenette (microwave, stove + oven, sink, full fridge, freezer, toaster) stocked with all the essentials (and yes even salt + pepper and olive oil spray)

-Courtyard that is shared between Lower Suite + Upper Suite with a propane fireplace and dining area
-Keurig, Coffee Pods and creamers
-Full size mirror + blow dryer for getting ready for your daily excursions!
