The space
Casa De Luna (1105 square foot) is a single level 3 bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms ideally situated in the between Channel Islands Harbor and Ventura Harbor. Located in Oxnard Shores it is close to Ventura, Moorpark, Camarillo, and Carpinteria! House is equipped with Wifi & private backyard. Wifi is provided free to guests but speeds are not guaranteed. There are so many activities at the beaches/harbors and depending on the time of your visit, you can enjoy concerts at/near the beach, volleyball or surf tournaments, whale watching, and tons of shopping and fine/casual dining, all within a very short walking/driving distances. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated with a touch of 'beach vibe'! Get ready to stretch out, relax and watch the wave of the Pacific Ocean roll gently toward the shore. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll along the beach, a picnic at one of the many local parks, or a nearby concert under the moonlit sky, Casa de Luna is a perfect vacation get-a-way. You can even experience an authentic gondola in the Venetian style on a cruise through local canals. Ocean breezes waft gently off the Pacific along a stretch of coastal paradise, while in the distance, a ship sets sail! Visitors seeking the California dream of beach, sun and ocean need look no further. Take sunset walks on the boardwalk or nearby piers, Drive to Main Street Ventura and appreciate the still small-town atmosphere of eclectic boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants.
The house includes a gas fireplace, 55" Smart T.V., Wi-Fi, dining table that fits 4-6. Fully stocked kitchen with plates, bowls, glassware, utensils, cooking ware, outdoor dinnerware, Keurig coffee station, electric water kettle, instant pot, blender, toaster oven, and more! There is no Air conditioning in the house. We are not a pet friendly home.
Home will be professionally cleaned and serviced after every stay and we are taking extra care to disinfect high touched areas between stays. We are implementing all the cleaning guidelines provided to us by the CDC.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
Master Bedroom contains a queen sized bed, 2 nightstands equipped with USB charging ports, 40" Smart TV (TCL), ceiling fan, closet with felt hangers and dresser. There is access to the backyard through the master bedroom sliding glass door.
Bunk Room contains (2) two metal bunk beds with twin over full, 1 nightstand, USB charging ports, ceiling fan, 40" Smart TV (TCL), large closet with a metal clothes hanging rack and dresser. Children under the age of 6 and person(s) weighing over 100 lbs may not access/sleep on top bunk for safety purposes.
Third Bedroom contains a trundle bed with pull out trundle, 40"Smart TV (TCL), luggage rack, USB charging ports, night stand, ceiling fan and reclining chair and ensuite bathroom with shower.
Extra Amenities:
Throw blankets, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach wagon, and outdoor heated shower.
Outdoor Space:
Private outdoor living space including dining table seating (8) patio furniture for (8), gas (propane) fireplace, bbq (propane), gas (propane) heater. There is an oversize umbrella and two storage sheds on the east wall in the back yard.
Please note: there is no Air Conditioning in the property.
The house is monitored for excessive noise. As host we have a responsibility to our neighbors to maintain a peaceful environment, so monitoring for excessive noise helps maintain good relations with our neighbors.
Guest access
Guests have access to a four car driveway. Guests enter through the East white vinyl gate. The front door is a slider door with a smart lock. There is no parking in the garage. Owner keeps personal items in the garage please be respectful and not remove or take supplies from the garage or from lock cabinets. Guests will find beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, skin boards to enjoy at the beach but not guaranteed. This is our vacation home and please be respectful of our possessions. Host will provide a starter package of K Cups for coffee, toilet paper, paper towels and salt and pepper shaker. There is a washer and dryer in the garage for stays. Patio furniture will stored inside from October to May due to Inclement Weather.
Other things to note
Once booking is completed, guests are to sign a vacation rental agreement, provide a security deposit, and a copy of driver’s license within 24 hours. Drivers’s license must match the credit card holder’s name. Electronic agreement reservation implies that guest(s) have read and agreed to house rules when booking is confirmed. Guests will not be given smart lock code if he or she hasn't complied with hosts requests. We are not a pet friendly house and no smoking or parties are allowed. There is no Air conditioning in the property.
