Our street is incredible. We are a true New Orleans community, where we do know each other and look out for one another. This property is a good fit for a conscientious tenant who likes to know who lives next door and likes the idea of knowing who lives next door. If you're new to NOLA, the Fairgrounds neighborhood is made up of young and retired families, with a mix of new renovations and historic homes. City Park and Bayou St. John are less than a mile away, providing beautiful trails and opportunities to kayak, jog, stroll and bike. In addition, there are often events at the New Orleans Museum of Art and Sculpture Garden within the park.
There are two small markets less than a mile away as well as a Whole Foods about a mile and a half from the house. Larger, traditional grocers are about two miles away on Carrolton Avenue. On weekends, visiting the French Quarter and downtown New Orleans is a breeze by bike down Esplanade Avenue (20 minute ride) or by the Lafitte Greenway (30 min). By car, you will be in the Vieux Carre in under 10 minutes. Pets are generally not allowed, but may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The advertised rate (tenants 90 days or longer) includes expected water/trash, yard maintenance, quarterly pest control, access to Ring camera, and all furnishings. Tenant is responsible for Entergy and Wifi/cable.
