The rustic cabins at Terrapin Station has all the modern amenities you need for a restful stay. The main home sleeps 4 and the two cabins will accommodate 4 more. Please inquire about where to launch your boat. Bring up to 4 dogs @ $100 each

The compound consists of 3 buildings:
Main Cabin: Sleeps 2 on a queen bed, 2 on a pull out couch + indoor shower. The other 2 rustic cabins can accommodate 4 more (2 in each cabin) + outdoor heated shower!

LAKE LEVEL UPDATE 06/25/23 – at the end of the dock, the lake level is 8 feet deep. Please see photos! Walking down to the dock requires a bit of climbing over large rocks but it’s still very enjoyable as the dock is huge and you can swim off the end of the platform. Alternatively, walk along the sideline of the shore to access the water.

Extra heaters and blankets provided in all cabins during the winter months!

Picture perfect sunset views. This property is located in a quiet cove on Lake Travis. Bring your boat or jet ski and park it overnight on the property (dock may be out of use, pls inquire before booking).

There is a public boat ramp (Mansfield Dam) 10 minutes from the house and several boat rental businesses nearby to take advantage of a true lake vacation!

Enjoy a little piece of lake front living while having the conveniences of grocery stores, fabulous restaurants, breweries and live music 10 to 15 minutes away. If downtown Austin is on your list it’s just a 35 minute drive through the hills of our beautiful city. This property is dog friendly so (at your own risk) bring your pups & let them run around in the fenced backyard. Please check local warnings for possible toxic algae prior to letting dogs near the water).

There are THREE structures here: Main house, Cabin 1, Cabin 2.
You will be booking the entire compound during your stay.

Main Cabin:
Inside the cozy cabin is the master bedroom: it is light and airy and has a queen size bed. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for additional sleeping space. The main home has a fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom with double sinks and a large shower. The washer/dryer is also available for your use. The main house sleeps 4.

Cabin 1:
The second bunk house is a lofted cabin; the perfect place for tweens & teens to hang out on the twin futon and stream their favorite shows on the TV. This cabin has an A/C to give guests a quiet, cool sleeping space. Due to the loft, we do NOT recommend letting younger guests sleep in this cabin without proper supervision.

Cabin 2:
This is the larger of the 2 cabins & has a kitchenette with sink, mini fridge and coffee machine. There are 2 futons that open into twin beds. This cabin has an A/C to give guests a quiet, cool sleeping space. Additionally, this cabin has a heated outdoor shower and portable toilet (port-o-potty, cleaned out each week).

PETS
There is a $100 fee per dog, per stay – MAX 4
Note: only the backyard has completely secured fencing. Please pick up after your pets or else there will be extra fees. Please due to owner allergies, no cats allowed.

Guests have access to the main house, cabin 1, cabin 2, backyard and dock. The red barn is not available for guest use.

We will not be on site to greet you but always available through the app. We are also close by if support is needed in person

Quiet lakeside neighborhood in Hudson Bend

A car is necessary to get around (or boat!) there is no public transit.

WINTER ADVISORY- the main cabin heating is not strong. Lots of blankets provided along with space heaters. Check forecast before booking.

LAKE LEVELS: UPDATED 06/25/23 – The end of our dock is in 8ft of water. The walk down to the dock however is rocky and will require some climbing. Otherwise walk around the left bend for easier access along shoreline. Use caution.

PETS: there is a $100 fee per dog, per stay, MAX 4. Note: Only the backyard is completely fenced. Ensure you check local toxic algae levels before allowing your dog to go into the lake. Terrapin Station is not liable for injury or death of animal. Poop bags are available at the house, along with towels for muddy paws. Please wipe down your dog(s) before letting them into the house.

FIREPIT: May not be used if there is a BURN BAN. Please ask.

Waiver: the booking guest will sign a waiver on behalf of the entire party.

All guests will fill out a renter’s agreement, use a credit card to secure a deposit and upload ID to confirm the reservation.
